Luiz Antonio Godoy is a Brazilian director, writer and sound creative. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he quickly moved to the country’s capital before moving to the US.

As an artist, his work is deeply shaped by his experiences living in completely different social and cultural contexts.

During his youth, films were his only window to the world, making him grow to understand they are a powerful tool to connect with people, statement he lives by today.

Drawn to philosophy and existentialism, Luiz’s films often explore universal themes and what it means to be human, using art to show complex and diverge ideas - but that manage to connect with an audience eager to explore similar depths of life.
